Blue Moon is a custom-designed lobster boat. The boat was constructed on an off-shore work-boat hull to yacht standards. The configuration is owners’ stateroom forward with queen-sized bed (not a V-berth) and head. It is finished in satin varnished solid teak. The head has a three-way mirror, electric toilet with LectraSan and holding tank, stainless steel bowl, hot and cold pressure water and shower. Ample locker space for storage.
The salon has two forward benches, teak table with extension, settee and galley. Aft is a large cockpit with six lockers. Aft of the cockpit is a swim platform with ladder. Storage on this boat is very large making her ideal for extended cruising.

Blue Moon was originally built for a very knowledgeable and experienced sailor, this yacht is a fine example of a time proven and sea tested hull, finished to yacht standards by an established New Brunswick boat-building firm. Blue Moon features an efficient Yanmar engine which cruises at about 3.5 gallons per hour at 7 knots. She also has all the amenities one would expect. In “turn-key condition,” This boat is ideal for a couple to travel the ICW and all or part of the Great Loop, she has a huge amount of storage space which is needed for extended cruising, this is a rugged maintenance free exterior boat with a beautiful solid teak interior trim. Boat is kept in freshwater in Carrabelle, Florida.
