This 2001 57′ Carver was kept in fresh water at a covered dock until 18 months ago at the Lake of the Ozarks. The present owner has maintained the boat in excellent condition with glistening gel coat and perfect stainless. In 2001 the 57 Carver Voyager had a Bimini top as standard, but this boat had a hardtop added when it was a year old. This makes the big flybridge feel even bigger with great entertaining areas for friends and family. This three stateroom boat with mid ship, full beam master stateroom, has had many upgrades such as a $24,000 electronics package installed in 2015. Other upgrades include new appliances in the galley with stainless refrigerator and freezer. The cockpit has had the addition of Seadek pads making the area extremely nonskid and looks great.

Entrance to the salon is from a large stainless and glass sliding door from the aft cockpit. In the forward area of the salon is the over-sized open galley, to make this section part of the main entertainment area. Guests can enjoy the comfortable seating areas of the salon and galley and the host and hostess can still be in the center of things while in this galley.
The salon has an L shaped couch with an adjustable Hi-Lo table to starboard and a loveseat sleeper sofa to port, plus three more movable stools at the galley counter. Neutral tones with wooden blinds are accented by high gloss woods. Forward of the salon, without a wall or bulkhead as a divider, is the pilothouse area, to open the interior space and increase the airy feeling of a larger yacht.
In January 2015 a complete electronics package was upgraded for the boat at a cost of $24,000. This package included these items and more for both the flybridge and lower helm station:
A few stairs lead to the flybridge that is set up for entertaining and cruising comfort with full wraparound lavas. Aft is a large wraparound couch with table and another settee on the other side. A Jenn-Aire grill, wet bar and refrigerator add great convenience. This 2001 model Carver has the full fiberglass hardtop that is standard equipment in later models.
The staterooms are accessed from the pilothouse via a curved stairway. The master is amidships and is the full beam of the yacht. The queen size berth is a full walkaround for ease of getting in and out of the bed, and especially in making the bed an easy task.
The head layout is designed with separate compartments for the toilet and the separate full size bath tub with shower.
The VIP stateroom is forward in the bow with a centerline queen berth and ensuite head with stall shower.
The third stateroom has upper and lower bunk style berths.
Engine room access is from a large hatch in the aft covered cockpit.
|This boat was kept in fresh water with undercover dockage until 18 months ago. The gelcoat shines and the stainless look perfect. The engine room has been maintained with effort and care. The cockpit and cockpit steps have had Seadeck decking material added for great looks and non-skid safety. |
Captain likes being able to run from the upper helm on nice, sunny days when entertaining guests, and from the lower helm in comfort during less than ideal conditions. Also, the railing on the aft flybridge allows extra area for guest use during day cruises.
KALIALYN is a great cruising vessel, as it offers several areas for guests to enjoy the view. Sit on the aft deck and watch the dolphins jumping the boat’s wake. The overhang from the upper deck shades the sitting area. Sit on the flybridge and enjoy a great view of the surrounding waters. Sit on the bow, feel the wind in your face, and watch the water fly by without hearing the engines.
The large swim platform offers yet another spot for guests to sit in lawn chairs while the boat is docked or at anchor, if they wish, or sit and dangle their feet in the water. It is large enough to be outfitted to carry a tender.
