Bee Zoo is a unique five cabin/1 head layout perfect for the cruising family.  Easy to sail and maneuver.  Simple but ready to go.  Shallow draft and short mast make her island and intercoastal friendly as well.  Located close to the Ft. Lauderdale airport, she is easy to show.

Included are outboard, davits, solar panels, electronics, and loads of spare parts.

Just hauled 2/1/17 for new bottom, wax and service sail drives.  All is good.  No hull issues at all.

A walk through of the boat shows the main salon with large opening doors from the cockpit and forward a large window which offer a panoramic view forward. A large circular teak dinette with seating for 8 is in the center with the galley to starboard and navigation station to port. High traffic areas in leading to the staterooms and the galley floor are finished in grey non- skid material.

The port hull layout features a large double bed (athwartships) forward with teak shelves and hanging locker. There is a large storage area below the bed as well. Moving aft is the marine head with sink and shower. This is a molded fiberglass unit for easy maintenance. Aft of the head compartment is another huge storage area with access to the port engine, battery bank and tank gauges.

The starboard hull offers two staterooms, each with double bed and storage for clothing and hanging lockers.   The starboard engine access is under the aft berth.

Both forward hulls are finished out with berths as well providing a great area for the kids and giving the boat 5 distinct sleeping areas.

There are 12V cabin fans in each cabin.

The galley offers a Frigaboat refrigerator (front loading) and four burner propane stove.  The oven was removed to add under sink storage but is available to be reinstalled if desired.  The galley also features a built in dish rack and teak cabinetry.

Engines are twin Yanmar 18 hp fresh water cooled diesels with sail drives. Access to the stbd engine is under the stbd aft berth.  Access on the port engine is in the large storage area aft of the head/shower.  Both engines were given a minor overhaul 2013/2014 with heads, injectors and fuel delivery rebuilt.

The navigation station has a teak desk with storage below and an electrical panel with a West Marine VHF550 radio and Garmin 2006C chartplotter and GPS. A separate Autohelm ST50 Mulit display is also at the nav station.

The helm is on the starboard side of the cockpit with Autohelm ST6000 Autopilot, a Autohelm ST50 Tridata display Depth/Speed, and a separate Autohlem ST50 AWI display (currently not working).

For entertainment, there is a TEAC CD/stereo located in the salon.

The electrical system is primarily handled by the 3 x 80 watt solar panels mounted on the davits and monitored by a Pro-Star 15 controller at the Nav Station.  These power 4 x 6V golf cart house batteries and 2 separate 12V engine start batteries.  Of course, there is also a 30A shore power system and Dolphin 20A battery charger when needed at the dock.  Also included is a small Vector 750 W inverter to allow use of most 110V appliances if necessary.

The twin Yanmars also have DC alternators to charge batteries on cloudy days.

Sails and Rigging

Sails include Dacron jib on roller furling, standard Dacron mainsail with new black cover. Line clutches are located on the cabin top and controlled from the cockpit. There are two Lewmar 40ST self tailing winches on either side of the coach roof to handle the sheets.  Located on the mast are a Lewmar 44ST and a 40ST winch to handle the halyards.

The owner cleverly added walking access along the boom by building in two pockets on the top of the bimini to store the fender boards for safe and easier access to the sail cover.

Catamarans offer wonderful deck space and the Tobago 35 is no exception. Forward is the trampoline (replaced in 2006) between the hulls. A great place to relax and enjoy the water. On deck, the aft cockpit is configured with seating, a outdoor dinette table (that has been modified to swivel and with folding leaves) for entertaining and pedestal helm seat.  The bimini was replaced last year.  Attached to the bimini are roll down shade/insect screens that enclose the entire cockpit.

Forward the ground tackle is a 35# Delta anchor on all chain rode to an electric, oversized windlass in the center deck locker.  (Also in the deck locker, in the “head” looking storage area, is the propane tank!)

The built in davits have been reinforced with added stainless to make them stronger and help support the solar panel weight.  Also, a lifting system has been made on the end of the boom to raise and lower the outboard.

A Tohatsu 8 hp is included in the inventory.
