The Flicka 20 pocket cruiser was designed as a small cruising boat that would be fun to sail, affordable on a modest budget, and with an interior that would appeal to today’s modern sailor. That she delivers fast performance under sail is a bonus. The Flicka is one of the very few smaller long distance cruisers, that actually sail well in both light and heavy winds.
IOTA has a new professionally replaced caprail in solid mahogany supplied by Atlantic Veneer of Morehead, NC, new bronze opening ports with screens by New Found Metals, new teak trim around interior cabin sides that was professionally installed with the new ports. The gudgeons and pintles were replace with four pair of Bristol Bronze units. The bottom has been blister repaired and coated with 10 mils of Interlux Interprotect with guidance from Pacific Seacraft. Petit Trinidad bottom paint was applied in 2017 and she has been dived on quarterly to keep the bottom clear.
If you are looking for an extremely well built and seaworthy small cruising boat, this could be it.
