First launched in 1962 as Bravata II, re-christened as Akamai in 1965 (was later Nordia and re-christened again as Akamai in 2011). She underwent a total restoration at Koehler Kraft in San Diego, and shows like a new boat now. She has been re-powered, re-rigged, and refinished. No expense was spared in the refit.
